De-Icer of Choice
- Now there is economic relief in the form of a liquid de-icer that saves you money, reduces corrosive effects on your equipment and saves labor hours in the field.
- Magic Salt de-icer is proactive by lowering the freezing point of water. Magic Salt does not work by heat through chemical exothermic reaction, instead Magic Salt prevents the snow from bonding to the surface of the material to which it is applied.

- This patented liquid is environmentally friendly. It is non-corrosive and it will not damage steel, carpet, wood, asphalt, concrete or equipment. In fact, it has won the approval of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
- Besides being corrosive, salt is expensive. The bonding effect of Magic Salt on the applied surface lasts longer; therefore, requiring fewer repeated applications.

Effective at Extreme Low Temperature
Light dusting of snow has fallen. Surface temperature 10°F. Snow contractor has applied sand/salt mix.
- Due to the cold temperature the sand/salt mix has had little or no effect on the "dusting" of snow. Notice the cars to the left. The sun is shining on these areas and still no melting is evident.
- The possibility of a slip and fall is very high as people start to walk to their vehicles.
- The contractor did his job by spreading sand/salt mix. The contractor will bill his customer for this application of material which did not produce favorable results.
- The sand will be an added expense to clean up in the spring.
No Sand Required

The Home Owner's Association is now left with sand on the streets, in the driveways, in landscape beds and in grass areas. This is a very time consuming job to clean up and put landscape beds, shrubbery and curb lines back in shape for spring.
